Because the water on Old Mill is enriched in minerals and of such fine quality and pure taste, there is a plan in the pipeline to package and distribute it as a bottled water brand. If you are an entrepreneur looking for a partner with ethical practices and a product that is world class, please contact us.
Apart from this venture, we plan to start a business which could positively impact our local community. Our goal is to grow the income of the Lesotho citizens, a nation that is very poor, by distributing seed and grain sourced from their mountain kingdom. These seeds are not genetically modified, but grown by the hands of these humble people. By purchasing their seed for the rapidly growing export market in search for non-gmo seed as opposed to foodstuff, we will be able to compensate them much more generously. Contact us if you want to be part of our dream uplift their lives. Help us to grow the dreams and visions of www.non-gmo.co.za.
If you are passionate about Old Mills and know how to restore them, if would it would gladden your heart to see her operational again, come and stay for the duration it takes to get her up and running.
The most important ingredient to good Craft Beer is quality water. We have mountain spring water of exceptional quality in abundance . To add to this, there is a historical site on the farm which would add allure. The old Turner Mill which was imported from England in the early 1900’s by Col. Hull is housed in a sandstone building of the same vintage. The building lends itself to a brewery, the back of the mill being exactly the correct dimension for a craft brewery and the front, where the mill resides is perfect for a pub. The eastern side of the mill overlooks a big dam, which has the most spectacular views over into Lesotho and the Maluti Mountains and down 14km of the Caledon River. We are looking for someone with craft brewery knowledge to partner with.
